MISSION

MOOON’s mission goes beyond individual project creation. We are looking to create a studio committed to the promotion of female artists and culture, encouraging exposure and generating interest in selected artistic practices. Wellness is another integral part of MOOON. Of particular relevance today, we aim to integrate mindful and holistic living into our spaces through our Feng Shui expertise. In the context of our home, this means translating the core understanding that our surroundings affect how we feel and live.

VISION AND PHILOSOPHY

The ability to work closely with our clients is a must, incorporating their needs while creating characterful, functional and timeless interiors. MOOON’s philosophy is centred around fusing old with new, layering lighting, textures and patterns, whilst also playing with volume. We believe that good design should have a responsibility to the world it inhabits, opting for reclaimed wood, eco-friendly paint and antique and vintage pieces where possible.

Art is central to our interiors. Working with leading artists and galleries from across the globe, we will both source and curate art collections, creating spaces imbued with individuality, expression, and creativity. Our designs will pay homage to the art we admire.

If desired, our team will offer personalized and tailored recommendations by looking at the physiological, psychological and aesthetic elements of you and your home, striving to create a harmony between the two. Our team’s specialized know-how will filter through into the ideas we offer you, looking at how to incorporate natural and sustainable items and materials where possible and ensuring a health flow of energy and light.

FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

In conjunction with a strong educational background, Lola’s career within the visual arts industry is extensive: from the Director of Sales at Gallery Red, a commercial art gallery based in Palma de Mallorca, to Senior Art Consultant at Washington Green Fine Art, the UK’s largest commercial art gallery. Having worked with some of the world’s greatest artists, from the likes of Damien Hirst, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol, it is fair to say that Lola understands the world of art.

Her aesthetic references are largely inherited from her experiences as a child. Growing up in Seville, a city of incalculable historic and artistic value, Lola was exposed early on to the brilliance of Murillo, the mastery of Velázquez and the prowess of Goya. This heritage, coupled with her international background, means that each project Lola embarks upon is approached with a cosmopolitan sophistication. Each project is unique.
